At Prezzley, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, update your profile, or interact with our service. We also collect information about your use of our service, including your interactions with content and other users.

The Prezzley browser extension (available for Chrome and Safari) runs a lightweight product detection script on retail pages to identify when you're viewing a product. This detection is automatic and is used only to power the Save button experience. Full product information is only extracted and sent to Prezzley when you choose to save an item by clicking Save or Buy. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data from pages where no save action is taken. The extension requires the following permissions: activeTab and scripting (to read product data when you save), storage (to keep you signed in between sessions), and notifications (to confirm when a product is saved). All data is sent exclusively to www.prezzley.com over HTTPS. No data is shared with third-party domains from the extension.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our service, to communicate with you, to personalize your experience, and to ensure the security of our platform. We may also use your information to send you updates, marketing communications, and other information that may be of interest to you.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy. We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating our service, with law enforcement when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and provide personalized content. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences, though disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our service.

Our service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

Prezzley participates in affiliate advertising programs. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (tag: prezzley-20), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. We also partner with Commission Junction (CJ) and ShareASale. When you click through to purchase a product, you may be directed via an affiliate link that earns Prezzley a commission at no cost to you. Those retailers operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal information with affiliate networks or retailers. We may log the click for analytics purposes including the retailer domain, product URL, and timestamp.

Payment processing for gifting pool contributions is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you enter payment information, it is submitted directly to Stripe — Prezzley never stores your full card number, CVV, or bank account details on its servers. Stripe may collect and store your name, billing address, email, payment method details, and transaction history in accordance with their own Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). Stripe is certified as a PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider. By making a payment on Prezzley you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Prezzley stores application data — including user accounts, wishlists, collections, favorites, notifications, and gifting pool records — in Supabase, a managed database platform built on PostgreSQL. Supabase infrastructure runs on AWS and is hosted in the US. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes your data only as directed by Prezzley. For more information on Supabase's security and compliance posture, see supabase.com/security.

The Prezzley iOS app includes an in-app browser powered by WKWebView (Apple's built-in web view). When you tap a product link and browse a retailer's website within the app, that browsing occurs on the retailer's own site, subject to the retailer's privacy policy and cookie practices — not Prezzley's. Prezzley does not intercept, log, or store the content you view within the retailer's site. Standard browser cookies set by the retailer may apply to your session. We recommend reviewing the retailer's privacy policy before completing a purchase.

Our service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may send you notifications about your account, updates to our service, and other relevant information. You can control your notification preferences through your account settings. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.
