Prezzley Inc (“Prezzley”, “we”, “us”) runs Prezzley on the web, in the iPhone app and in our Chrome and Safari extensions. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account: your name, email address, username, and the Apple or Google account you sign in with. Profile: your photo and anything you add. What you create: collections, saved products, notes, photos you upload for collages, occasions and dates, gift claims, and gift pool contributions you log. Circle and Messages: the people you connect with, and the messages, photos and voice memos you send. Activity: searches, products you view, save or open at a retailer, and stores you open in the iPhone app's browser. Device: a device identifier and push token for notifications, plus basic browser and device details. Region: the country derived from your IP address. Optional analytics follow the regional choices described below. If you send a copyright complaint, we collect the contact details you provide, including your phone number, to process it.
Messages and voice memos
When you send a message, photo or voice memo, we store it so the people in that conversation can read or play it. Voice memos are recorded only when you choose to record, after the app asks for microphone access. When you delete your account, we delete messages you sent and request removal of your uploaded message photos and voice memos. Conversations stay available to the other people in them. Some records may be retained as described under Data Retention. If you search by voice, your device turns your words into text, and Prezzley receives only the text.
Browser Extension
Prezzley’s Chrome and Safari extensions detect products on pages where you grant access, to offer the floating save button and product preview. Detection and temporary preview state can occur before you save. The extension may contact Prezzley to check your session, collections, or whether a product is already saved. Choosing Save sends the product link and permitted save fields to Prezzley. Amazon offer fields are withheld while licensed enrichment is unavailable. Saving does not initiate an affiliate purchase or retailer redirect. Permissions vary by browser and build: active-tab/script access enables detection, local storage maintains preferences and session state, and optional website access enables the floating button. You can revoke website access in browser settings. Requests to Prezzley use HTTPS.
Product Analytics
Product analytics are optional. On the website, analytics stays off until you opt in if you are in the EEA, UK or an unknown region. Elsewhere, web analytics turns on once the notice is dismissed, and you can turn it off. In the iPhone app, analytics stays off until you allow it. On the website, allowed events are stored in our own analytics database. In the iOS app, the same consent choice controls native analytics events that the app sends to Prezzley. When you are signed in, those events are linked to your account so we can understand how the product is used and improve it. We do not collect crash data or performance diagnostics with a third-party monitoring tool. Turning analytics off stops new analytics events. Necessary records that run the service, such as your account and the items you save, are separate from this optional analytics choice.
AI and automated features
Prezzley doesn't send your information to outside AI services. Product matching and the background removal used for collages run on models Prezzley hosts itself. If we ever add a feature that uses an outside AI provider, we'll name the provider here and ask your permission in the app before any of your information is sent.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our service, to communicate with you, to personalize your experience, and to ensure the security of our platform. Optional product analytics follow the regional choices described above. We may also use your information to send you updates and other information that may be of interest to you. Marketing messages are optional and you can opt out.
Information Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only: with service providers that run Prezzley for us and must protect it and use it only for us, for hosting (Vercel), database, sign-in and storage (Supabase), caching (Upstash), email (Resend), background processing (Railway) and push notifications (Apple and browser push services); with Apple or Google when you sign in with them; with retailers and affiliate networks when you open a store, as described under Affiliate Links; with people you choose, when you share a collection or send a message; when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety; and with a successor if Prezzley Inc is merged or sold, under this policy. Prezzley Inc is part of Sonco Co LLC. If Sonco Co LLC accesses personal information, it must protect it to the same standard as this policy.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
Our service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
Affiliate Links & Partners
Some product links on Explore, product pages, and shared lists are affiliate links. Prezzley Inc may earn a commission when someone buys through one of them, at no extra cost to the buyer. Retailers and affiliate networks apply their own privacy and cookie policies when you visit them and may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser information, and referrer. Prezzley records outbound click information for attribution and service operation, which may include your account identifier if you are signed in, plus product and retailer information, time, browser information, and referral context. A logged click does not establish that a purchase occurred. The Affiliate Disclosure explains what those links do.
Payments and gift pools
Prezzley doesn't take payments. Purchases happen on the retailer's site. Gift pools help friends coordinate a gift: Prezzley records the amount each person says they contributed, but it doesn't collect, hold, transfer or process any money. If you pay someone with PayPal, Venmo or another payment app, that app's terms and privacy policy apply, and Prezzley doesn't receive your payment details.
Data Storage
Prezzley Inc stores application data — including user accounts, collections, saved products, notifications, and analytics events you have allowed — with a managed database platform built on PostgreSQL, running on managed cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our database provider acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes your data only under our direction.
Shopping inside the iPhone app
The iOS app can display supported retailers in an in-app browser. Local product detection inspects page information to support saving; optional recent-store features can retain browsing entries on your device. Explicit saves and related service lookups communicate with Prezzley. Amazon shopping destinations are intended to open in the system browser or Amazon app, not the embedded retailer browser. Retailers control their own pages, cookies, checkout and privacy practices. Pending saves may be kept locally to retry after a connection failure; signing in is required to deliver them to your account.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Notifications and Communications
We may send you notifications about your account, updates to our service, and other relevant information. You can control your notification preferences through your account settings. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Delete your account any time in the iPhone app under Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete your account, or on prezzley.com under Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete your account. If you can't sign in, email privacy@prezzley.com. Once a deletion completes, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing of your information. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
